Context Window

The maximum amount of text (measured in tokens) an AI model can process in a single interaction. Content outside this window is not considered by the model.

Token

The basic unit of text that AI language models process. A token is roughly 3–4 characters or about 0.75 words. Models have limits on how many tokens they can handle at once.

Temperature

Hallucination

System Prompt

Deep Research

Meta-Prompting

The practice of asking an AI model to write or improve a prompt for you before running the actual task. Instead of crafting a complex prompt from scratch, you describe your goal and ask the model to generate the best query — then use or refine that query to get your output. Useful when you know what you want but not how to ask for it.

Chain of Thought (CoT)

A reasoning approach where an AI model works through a problem step by step before producing a final answer, rather than jumping straight to a conclusion. Chain of thought reasoning improves accuracy on complex tasks and is often visible in tools like Claude and ChatGPT as the model thinks out loud before responding.

AI Agent

Multimodal AI

Connector
